Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh has reacted sharply over the launch of an Android App titled "2020 Sikh Referendum".
The government of India on Wednesday (July 9) announced to ban Sikh diaspora activists group called Sikhs For Justice (SFJ).
The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Priya Sood pronounced verdict in a case registered by Punjab police against alleged activist of Referendum 2020. The case was registered against Bikramjeet Singh, Hardeep Singh, Jaspreet Singh and Kuldeep Singh under FIR number 93/2016 police station Chabbewal in Hoshiarpur district.
It is learnt that the Amritsar police re-arrested eight Sikh activists who were due to be released from the Amritsar Central jail.
